InfoMate is a comprehensive cadastral/survey computation, fieldwork reduction and data capture application for geomatics professionals and technicians. Users in private practise, Local and Municipal Government and Land Administration organisations can leverage the tools provided to process and consolidate co-ordinate data from a variety of sources, produce records and ultimately build a land information system.

Cadastral Surveying

InfoMate gives surveyors the power to manage and integrate survey related data.
InfoMate has survey, cadastral and geometric tools to easily and efficiently process and reduce co-ordinates from various sources, calculate township layouts quickly and efficiently in a graphical environment.
Geometric tools provide CAD like routines to formalise town planning layouts and ensure that lines are parallel and regular. Automated procedures and tools for the generation of lines from sequentially named points and polygons from lines speed up the process of computation and definition of plots.

Survey Records

All calculations/computations are recorded in a database for the production of survey records in accordance with the requirements of the Surveyors-General in Southern Africa. Automated data and consistency routines facilitate the production of records with a minimum number of clicks. InfoMate has a built-in Autocad compatible CAD routine for the production of general plans, diagrams and working plans, thus eliminating the need for costly CAD applications. In addition, automated mapping, facilities the production of locality sketches (Botswana) at the click of a button.

Cadastral Data Capture

InfoMate greatly facilitates cadastral data maintenance. Customised tools deal with local system survey records by transformation and efficient capture tools are used for diagrams and general plans. Planning layouts are imported, thus dealing with planned, approved and registered cadastral. Database definition templates can be customised to provide descriptive, qualitative and quantitative attributes for points, lines and polygons to prepare quality data for land information systems.
